Fatemeh Shirazi is an entrepreneur, scientist, and founder CEO of Microvi Biotech.
From 1980 to 1984 Fatemeh Shirazi attended the University of Tulsa. She graduated with a bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering.
From 1988 to 1992 Fatemeh Shirazi completed a masters degree in environmental engineering at Oklahoma State University. After completing her masters degree, Shirazi began a Ph.D program in 1993 at Oklahoma State University in civil and environmental engineering. She completed her Ph.D in 1996.
Fatemeh Shirazi founded Microvi Biotechnologies in 2004 and has served as the companies CEO since 2008. Microvi Biotech is a biotechnology company manufacturing and commercializing biocatalytic products and technologies for the water, energy and chemical industries.
