FLOODGATE (previously known as Maples Investments) is a venture capital firm founded by Mike Maples Jr. and Ann Miura-Ko. The firm was founded in 2006. The firm primarily operates from Palo Alto, California. As of February 2019, it is currently managing a portfolio of 133 companies, and has sold off its stakes in 105 companies. Its most recent investment was in January 2019 for Sandbox VR, a company providing virtual reality entertainment services.
