
Evgeny Dmitrievich Gevorgyan
He spent his childhood in Iran.
In 1962 he graduated from the Moscow Higher Technical School, worked as an engineer, later held the position of chief engineer of the Borets plant. He received his musical education at home.
Since 1962, he has performed together with double bass player Andrey Gevorgyan (brother) and drummer Yuri Nizhnichenko. Played at jazz festivals in Moscow and Tallinn; last performances in jazz - 1st (1977; trio with saxophonist Lev Mikhailov and drummer Yuri Nizhnichenko) and 2nd (1988; quartet with saxophonist Lev Mikhailov, drummer Yuri Nizhnichenko and Dmitry Gevorgyan - synthesizer) symposia of new jazz music (Akademgorodok, Novosibirsk) ), festivals in Yaroslavl and Kazan (1985).
