Evelyn Cavendish, Duchess of Devonshire, was born on August 27, 1870, in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland. She held the occupations of Justice of the peace and Hofmeister. Evelyn was a citizen of the United Kingdom.
She was the daughter of Henry Petty-Fitzmaurice, 5th Marquess of Lansdowne, and Maud Petty-Fitzmaurice, Marchioness of Lansdowne. Evelyn Cavendish had four children: Edward Cavendish, 10th Duke of Devonshire; Lady Dorothy Macmillan; Lady Elizabeth Cavendish; and Lord Charles Arthur Francis Cavendish.
Evelyn Cavendish, Duchess of Devonshire, died on April 2, 1960, at Chatsworth House.
