Established in March 2000 by Asha Jadeja and her late spouse Rajeev Motwani, Dot Edu started as a little gathering of pioneering friends at Stanford and UC Berkeley. It is now composed of people from various universities such as CMU, MIT, University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign, U Penn, Princeton, Washington University, UC San Diego and UC Santa Barbara.
