Donut is a Berlin-based company with the stated mission of creating a platform for digital assets as they continue to become more utilized. The company states that assets in the future may be cryptocurrencies, land ownership in virtual reality, and fractional ownership of tangible investments, such as artwork.

Product

The platform is intended to make investing accessible to everyone, regardless of knowledge of investing, location, socioeconomic class, or computer abilities. The creators of Donut have the vision for it to be the home for consumers where they can purchase, store, and transact their digital assets.

The company has a Donut Test Kitchen, which is a series of user research initiatives. Once users sign up for Donut, they are asked to fill out a survey to answer questions on topics such as their base cryptocurrency knowledge and intentions for investing. Users can also talk one on one with the CPO of the company in order to give feedback. The first version of the application is being built based on the research results from the Donut Test Kitchen.
