On February 12, 2019 Culture Biosciences completed a venture capital funding round with $5.5 million in funding from Section 32 (lead investor) and Refactor Capital. The company will be using their funding to develop additional bioreactor facilities and to expand its digital biomanufacturing platform. The CEO of Culture Biosciences, Will Patrick, made the following public statement after the companies successful venture capital round:
