Cockpit is the first industry venture fund with the mission to support and invest in entrepreneurs with disruptive technologies in digital travel, aviation and aerospace.

Founded in 2015, Cockpit Innovation is the corporate venture capital arm of El Al Airlines based in Tel Aviv, Israel. The firm support and invest in firms with technologies in digital travel, aviation and aerospace. Cockpit is an opportunity to develop and challenge ideas, and a chance to introduce products to EL AL and its partners and stakeholders. Their knowledge, resources and international network, will support startups toward the deployment of their ideas. Among Cockpit Innovation Hub partners, portfolio companies can find Lufthansa Systems, IATA, and EL AL.

As part of their investments, Cockpit Innovation Hub invests in sub-sectors of aviation and digital travel, including security and cyber security, connectivity and mobile, financial technology, internet of things, customer and crew experience, big data and artificial intelligence and media and digital.
