Chris O. Jackson (born 11 August) is an African-American entrepreneur, philanthropist and founder and current CEO/CCO of Lionshare Partners. He is currently a board member of the non-profit organization, Strive LA, a mini-campus for Los Angeles inner-city youth.

Early life

Chris was born in Frankfurt am Main, Hessen, Germany, where his father was stationed as a US Marine and grew up in Southern California. At the age of 3, Chris became a dependent child of the Orange County Juvenile Court. He was in the foster care system until his 18th birthday, when dependency terminated. He graduated from Rancho Bueno Vista as Student of the Year and won the African-American Visionary and Inspirational Leaders scholarship.



Chris holds a BA in Fine Arts from the University of California in Los Angeles (UCLA), whereas a student at UCLA, he helped found the Red Carpet Foundation, which worked with child beneficiaries to make them a celebrity-for-a-day. Chris was also the Communication Director for the Young Voters for Arnold campaign.



After graduating from UCLA, he pursued graduate studies at Harvard University in Financial Accounting and Investment Theory before obtaining an MBA from California Lutheran University.

Career

Chris is a certified financial planner and IRS enrolled agent. He started in 2010 at Churchill Management Group, who was ranked by Barron as a top 15 independent financial advisor. In 2017, Chris launched Lionshare Partners, a wealth management firm. Prior to founding Lionshare, Chris help managed over 300 million dollars of individual and institutional assets and held senior roles at multiple globally recognized investment firms.
