Chelyabinsk State Academic Drama Theatre

Today Chelyabinsk Drama is one of the leading theaters in the country. The theater produces up to 10 premiere performances annually. Directors and stage designers from Moscow, St. Petersburg and other cities of Russia cooperate with the theater, which gives the troupe the opportunity to work with representatives of various schools and trends. The theater troupe includes people's and honored artists of Russia, as well as honored artists of Kyrgyzstan and Tatarstan. The theater, having two stages, can accommodate up to 1000 spectators at the same time. This is a large stage with a capacity of 850 seats and a small stage with 102 seats.
