Caja de Burgos Fundación is a Burgos, Spain based private, non-profit organisation with a banking license and the result of a corporate change of the former Caja de Ahorros Municipal de Burgos (Burgos Local Savings Bank). Part of this change has seen the Caja de Burgos Fundación change from a savings bank to working towards the improvement of the welfare, quality of life, preservation for the artistic and cultural heritage, and focus on the sustainability of the environment in the Burgos region of Spain.
As part of their non-profit work, Caja de Burgos Fundación has partnered with the Burgos Town Hall to help develop the town hall and support events there. They have partnered with Atapuerca Foundation to provide organizational and economic research to the achaeological complex of the Sierra Burgalesa. They have partnered with The Confederation of Business Associations of Burgos (FAE), the Association of Young Entrepreneurs of Burgos (AJE), the Association of Entrepreneurs of the Polygon of Villalonquejar and Family Business of Castilla y Leon to promote and finance the creation of companies in the Burgos region.
