A British entrepreneur who is most well-known for founding Quid, a search engine capable of analysis using artificial intelligence.

Bob Goodson is a San Francisco-based British entrepreneur who specializes in the field of artificial intelligence and developing software such as search engines and predictive analysis technology.

Education

Goodson has a Bachelor's of Arts with Honors in English Literature and Philosophy from University of East Anglia. He began a Master's of Philosophy program specializing in Medieval Literature at the University of Oxford in 2002 and has been on sabbatical from the program since 2004.

Career

In 2004, Goodson was the product manager for Midtown Doornail and transitioned to Yelp later that same year. At Yelp, he was one of the first employees for the company and initially started as a product manager. He moved into the sales director role in 2005.

After leaving Yelp in 2007, Goodson was the founder and CEO of Quid, a platform that allows users to analysis various forms of data. He later became the Chief Revenue Officer of the company in 2012. Quid was launched to market in 2015 and Goodson resumed his role as CEO in 2016.
