Bleximo Corp. is a company building "quantum accelerators” a type of computing system. Quantum accelerators work in conjunction with conventional powerful computers to solve problems which are impractical or even impossible to solve on conventional digital computers alone. These accelerators leverage laws of quantum physics and are designed for particular problems in specific industries. Bleximo's quantum accelerators utilize superconduction qubits.
Bleximo was established by Alexei Marchenkov, Richard Maydra in February 2017 and is based in Berkeley, California. On Sep 25, 2018, Bleximo announced $1.5M in funding from a seed round led by Eniac Ventures.
The company's initial focus is providing quantum accelerators for simulating new materials and molecules for drug development with a view to expanding into solving problems in energy, finance, manufacturing, and security.
In October 2019, Bleximo announced a partnership with Austrailian quantum computing software company Q-CTRL. Q-CTRL will become Bleximo's preferred provider of quantum firmware to power it's superconducting quantum accelerators.
Bleximo Corp raises a $1,500,000 seed round from KEC Ventures, Gyan Kapur, Boost VC, ENIAC Ventures and Creative Ventures.
