Athlane is a technology company headquartered in San Francisco, California that was founded in January 2019 by Micheal I and Faisal Younus. The company is making software providing an e-sports analytics terminal and intelligent marketplace for teams and companies to take advantage of monetization opportunities. Their platform connects individual e-sports players and teams with with brands and agencies who would like to sponsor players or teams for advertising purposes through aggregating raw data from real-time esports sources, validating that data using normalization and proprietary trust models, use artificial intelligence to extract insights from that data, and visualize historical and real-time trends.
Before founding Athlane, Michael I graduated from Harvard University and worked as an analyst for Founders Intelligence and Firstminute Capital.
Before founding Athlane, Faisal Younus graduated from Harvard University with degree in applied mathematics, worked as the director of conference programming for the Harvard Project for Asian and International Relations (HPAIR), and worked as the co-president of Harvard Ventures.
