Arraiy has developed a computer vision and learning platform for film, television and games. The AI system is being trained to rotoscope, a process of separating certain parts of the footage from the background. For example, the AI system is learning to separate an actor from the green screen. Since the Arraiy platformcan rotoscope faster than humans it can give filmmakers a chance to see a finished scene before leaving the set, reducing resources and reshooting of scenes. Arraiy was used to make a short film called “The Human Race” and a music video by The Black Eyed Peas called "Street Livin".

Lux Capital Management invests in Airraiy.
