Allen & Company is a Lakeland, Florida based investment advisor, wealth management advisor and financial advisor. They offer portfolio management, retirement planning, tax planning, estate planning, education and college planning, life insurance, charitable giving and gifting, business succession planning and stock option planning services.
Allen & Company began in 1932 when J. Everett Allen opened his first office in downtown Lakeland. In 1963, Ralph Allen, J. Everett Allen's son, joined the firm, which had at that time four financial advisors. Since then, they expanded to Polk County in 1968 with their Winter Haven office. In 1987, they moved their flagship office in the Allen Building. And in 2012 they opened an office in Viera, Florida.
