Biography
early years

Anvar Abdullinovich Abdullin was born on June 5, 1917 in the village of Starodyumeevo, Belebeevsky district, Ufa province (now the village of Dyumeevo, Ilishevsky district, Bashkortostan) into a peasant family. At the age of seventeen he graduated from the Davlekanovsky factory school. He studied at the cooperative technical school in Ufa. After graduating from a technical school, he worked as an assistant foreman at the Buzdyaksky Butter Plant.

In 1939 he was called up for service in the Workers 'and Peasants' Red Army by the Tuymazinsky district military commissariat. Served in Mongolia in units of the 57th Panzer Division. Since June 1941 on the fronts of the Great Patriotic War.

Participated in battles on the Karelian, Western, Stalingrad, Don and 3rd Belorussian fronts. He also took part in the defense of Kiev, the battles for Moscow and Stalingrad. In 1943 he joined the CPSU. In 1944-1945, he participated in the Belarusian, Baltic and East Prussian offensive operations. During the war he was wounded four times. I met the end of the war in East Prussia.

Feat

On August 21, 1944, in the area of ​​​​the village of Klepy, west of the city of Kaunas (Lithuanian SSR), Senior Sergeant Anvar Abdullin distinguished himself in repelling an enemy attack. The firing position of the battery was attacked by 16 tanks, 25 armored personnel carriers and up to a Nazi infantry regiment. Having opened fire on the enemy, Abdullin's calculation knocked out the lead tank, and the rest began to bypass the battery from the flanks, threatening the environment. Under heavy enemy artillery and machine-gun fire, Anvar Abdullinovich and his crew moved the gun to a more advantageous position 300 meters from the original one, from which they began to fire at the tanks coming to the rear, and the crew, having taken up defense, repelled the attacks of enemy infantry from personal weapons. Having knocked out the second tank, Anvar Abdullin began to fire direct fire at the enemy infantry, located at a distance of 300-500 meters. As a result of the battle, the Nazis retreated to their original positions, losing two tanks and up to two hundred soldiers and officers. The position occupied by the battery was held.

By decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of March 24, 1945, Senior Sergeant Anvar Abdullinovich Abdullin was awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union with the Gold Star medal and the Order of Lenin.

Future life

In August 1945, during the Soviet-Japanese War, in parts of the army of the 1st Far Eastern Front, he participated in the defeat of the Kwantung Army in Manchuria. After the end of the war in July 1946, he returned to Bashkiria. From 1948 to 1959 he worked on the party line in the Buzdyaksky and Karmaskaly district committees of the CPSU. In 1960, Anvar Abdullin graduated from the Higher Party School under the Central Committee of the CPSU. In the same year he worked as the secretary of the Soviet Republic of Kazakhstan of the CPSU. From 1959 until his retirement in 1986, he worked at the Ufa plant of rubber technical products named after M. B. Frunze. In 1963 he was appointed head of the shop, and in 1970 - deputy director, and then worked in the civil defense headquarters of the plant.

Anvar Abdullinovich Abdullin died on October 28, 2002, and was buried in Ufa at the Southern Cemetery.
