Abdulin Aitmukhamed Abdullaevich

Member of the Soviet-Japanese War. Reserve colonel.

From 1946 to 1948 he was the 1st secretary of the Bostandyk district committee of the Komsomol.

In 1957, he was the first to discover the Samara copper-gold deposit.

In 1960, he was the head of the educational department and senior lecturer at the Kazakh Mining and Metallurgical Institute.

From 1975 to 1977 - Deputy Academician-Secretary.

In 1988 he became the Academician-Secretary of the Department of Earth Sciences of the Academy of Sciences of the KazSSR.

From 1988 to 1994 he was vice-president of the Academy of Sciences of the republic, combining with the position of director of the Institute of Geology.

Graduated from the Faculty of Geology of the Kazakh State University named after. S. M. Kirov (1953).

The theme of the doctoral dissertation is “Complex research of Mugodzhar and problems of connection between the tectonic structures of the Urals, Tien Shan and Central Kazakhstan” (1971).

Author of more than 300 scientific papers, including 10 monographs.

He began his career at the Institute of Geological Sciences. K. I. Satpaeva in 1953 as an engineer. Here he went through all stages of scientific activity from a junior researcher to the director of the Institute (1971-1995), vice-president of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan (1988-1995).

Member of the CPSU from 1951 to 1991.

Academician of the International Engineering Academy and the Engineering Academy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, honorary academician of the Academy of Sciences of Bashkortostan, professor at the University of South Carolina (USA), member of several foreign scientific societies, honorary professor of Taraz, Kyzylorda, South Kazakhstan State Universities, professor of KazNTU named after. K. I. Satpaeva, Deputy of the Supreme Council of the Kazakh SSR of the XII convocation, Deputy of the first convocation of the Parliament of sovereign Kazakhstan, the first president of the National Committee of Geologists of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
