7layers is an international group of testing laboratories specialized in testing and certifying wireless communication devices. The company is headquartered in Ratingen, Germany and was founded in 1999. On January 4, 2013 the company was bought by Bureau Veritas for an undisclosed amount of money. 



7layers offers its services for a variety of industries developing and implementing wireless communication devices and modules. The company tests and certifies communication technologies such as LTE, Bluetooth, HSPA and Wi-Fi.components, for end manufacturers or network providers. 7layers offers progressive testing solutions like InterLab Live, InterLab EVO, a web based test management system for test laboratories.



7layers is a member of international open industry groups such as the Continua Health Alliance which is specialized in wireless health, set to develop advanced technologies for a connected and smart individual healthcare.In accordance to ISO/IEC 17025 7layers is accredited by well-established accreditation bodies such as the German DAkkS or the US A2LA.

The 7layers group has its headquarters in Ratingen, Germany with test & service centers in China, Japan, South Korea and the United States of America. The head office of the parent company Bureau Veritas is located in Neuilly-sur-Seine (France).
