Biography
After graduating from the "industrial class" of a seven-year public school in Drohobych, he became a student of the master of meat affairs Antoni Yarema. In 1935 he opened his own meat products business first in the village. Extra, then in Drohobych.
In Soviet times, from the early 1950s, he was the head of the sausage shop at Drohobych's Lispromhosp. Inventor of recipes for sausages "Karpatska", "Lisova", "Kurortna Sukha", "Truskavetska", "Myslyvska", meat products "Zayats", "Khlibets culinary" and others.
Distinctions
Winner of a number of republican and all-Union agricultural and industrial exhibitions. In 1956 he created a recipe for "Drohobych sausage" and for this he was awarded a prize from the Ministry of Food Industry of the USSR.
