The University of Murcia, also known as Universidad de Murcia, is a public educational institution and organization located in Murcia, Spain. Founded in 1272, the university operates under the motto "Cien por cien universidad" and primarily focuses on education, higher education, and functioning as a university.

The University of Murcia is accredited by both the Ministry of Universities of Spain and the Consejería de Educación, Universidades y Empleo de la Región de Murcia.
