The present technology additionally relates to a pharmaceutical kit containing the composition comprising d-threo-methylphenidate conjugated to nicotinoyl-L-serine, and/or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, and unconjugated methylphenidate and/or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
