Tushy was founded in 2015 by THINX co-founder Miki Agrawal and Justin Allen and is headquartered in Brooklyn. The company’s primary product is the TUSHY bidet, an attachable bidet that hooks up to most standard toilets as well as some international toilet models.

The TUSHY bidet is a bidet attachment that clips on to most standard toilets and fits in between the seat and the bowl. The TUSHY bidet comes in 2 models: a single-temperature bidet and a bidet able to connect to multiple water lines, allowing for dual temperature. In 2017, TUSHY also began selling bamboo towels, called “bum towels.” They are made of bamboo fibers. TUSHY Bamboo toilet paper is made from 100% bamboo.
The Tushy bidet begins at $35 (Canadian dollars) for a basic model. It installs under the toilet seat and has a water spray nozzle that extends below the rim at the back of the toilet which shoots a vertical stream of water. The device is turned on and off using a hand control. The bidet attachments are sold online at Amazon, Home Depot and Canadian Tire. Users claim that they save money by using less toilet paper and that the system is more hygienic and less irritating than wiping.
