History:

According to the Vedomosti newspaper, in the late 2000s, Transoil effectively monopolized a number of export routes, in particular, for the transportation of oil products to the Baltic ports from the Kirishi refinery owned by Surgutneftegaz. As of October 2011, more than 70% of the company's traffic was provided by Rosneft, Surgutneftegaz, Gazprom Neft.

The locomotive fleet of the company in 2005 was more than 20 units.

Performance indicators:

According to the results of 2009, Transoil became the second private railway operator in the country after Globaltrans in terms of transportation volume - the company's transportation volume amounted to 49.2 million tons of oil and oil products. In 2010, Transoil transported 59 million tons (+ 21% by 2009).
