Spider-Man 3 was based on the movie trilogy of the same name, but the plot here is not exactly the same as the original. The developers decided to add several storylines, so in addition to Sandman and Venom, the game has stories about New Goblin, Scorpion, Lizard and Kingpin. The stories are not connected. The player will receive all the antagonists of the Spider-Man Universe, with whom the gamer will have to fight throughout all forty missions.
The action takes place in the large American city of New York, which is open for research. The player will use the abilities of his ward to move around the territory. The boy, with the help of a strong web, clings to buildings, swings and releases the web. Performing story missions, the user can be distracted by side tasks, simply by accidentally hitting another lawbreaker. Primary and secondary levels are not related to each other. Quick Time Action is a mode in which mini-games are implemented.
