Sofia Rotaru

Sofia Rotaru is a Ukrainian singer, dancer, record producer, and entrepreneur, born on August 7, 1947. She was born in Marshyntsi, Ukraine, which, at the time, was part of the Soviet Union. Rotaru holds dual citizenship with both Ukraine and the former Soviet Union. She is also known by the alias Sofiia Mykhailivna Yevdokymenko-Rotaru.

Rotaru's music encompasses multiple genres, including disco, pop music, rock music, and contemporary folk music. Throughout her career, Rotaru has gained a reputation for her diverse range of talents, which include dancing and record producing.
