Michel Camilo

Michel Camilo, born on April 4, 1954, in Santo Domingo, is a pianist, composer, and songwriter from the Dominican Republic. He is also a musician, singer, and music teacher. Camilo's work spans genres such as jazz, hard bop, classical music, and Latin music.

Camilo received his education at the Juilliard School and the Mannes School of Music. He has been recognized for his talents with the Grammy Award for Best Latin Jazz Album.
