Kris Tyson

Kris Tyson is an American YouTube celebrity mainly known for being the co-host for the MrBeast YouTube channel, where Jimmy Donaldson, also known as MrBeast, is the original creator and co-host. Tyson participates in many of the challenges and prank videos that Donaldson makes and is one of the only people who is consistently on the channel. Tyson is also the main host of the channel Beast Reacts (formerly BeastHacks).

Tyson was born in 1991 in North Carolina and, in childhood, met Donaldson, who created the MrBeast YouTube channel in 2012. Tyson joined the channel the same year. Since 2012, the channel has grown to over 146 million subscribers.

Tyson married Katie Tyson in May 2018, and on June 18, 2020, the couple welcomed their first child. On November 5th, 2020, Tyson revealed on Twitter to be bisexual. In March of 2023, Tyson announced the couple had been separated for more than a year. Later, Tyson revealed she had started HRT and that being able to access gender-affirming care had saved her life. In July 2023, Tyson announced that she uses she/her pronouns.

Tyson has two inactive YouTube channels. One does not have any videos on it, and the other has videos of video games, but it hasn't been updated in more than eight years.

In addition to co-hosting the MrBeast YouTube channel, Tyson has a big social media following. Tyson has two Twitter accounts, with more than a million followers combined. Her Instagram has almost three million followers. Tyson also has a Twitch channel where she streams live videos with others.

In 2021, old tweets from Tyson resurfaced. Many were Islamophobic, racist, transphobic, ableist, and made fun of child sexual assault. Tyson appears to have deleted these tweets. Tyson was not fired from the MrBeast channel.

In 2023, reactions to Tyson revealing she had started HRT were mixed; some of her fans supported her, and others made anti-trans comments. MrBeast has been openly supportive of Tyson since the announcement.
