She is currently a member of the National Assembly of the Republic of Slovenia and head of the SDS parliamentary group. After working in secondary education, in 2006 she became the director of the Šentjur People's University. In the 2014 National Assembly elections, she was elected as a member of the National Assembly of the Republic of Slovenia in the Šentjur district in the ranks of the Slovenian Democratic Party.
