As Vice Consul for Financial Services and FinTech, Jacob leads on financial services strategic engagement for the British Consulate in San Francisco in the entire Western USA. While Jacob's main focus is working with growing FinTechs and Financial companies of all sizes on both sides of the Atlantic, he also provides support to the wider tech and financial services community in San Francisco with ties to the United Kingdom. An active member of the Silicon Valley tech community, Jacob has spoken on several occasions about financial innovation and the state of global startup communities. A multi-time startup founder and early employee himself, Jacob brings a unique perspective to discussion, having been on both sides of the table and now sitting in the position of government.

Responsible for all global sales and marketing campaigns at Clarity, Jacob works across several markets around the world to build relationships, design strategic campaigns, and lead his team to grow Clarity to a truly unique global agency with the spirit and energy of a much smaller firm.

Previously, Jacob was Vice Consul at the British Consulate-General where he lead on financial services strategic engagement with growing FinTechs and Financial companies of all sizes on both sides of the Atlantic.

An active member of the global tech community and recovering founder himself, Jacob has spoken on several occasions about financial innovation and the state of global startup communities; as well as on the origin of Silicon Valley and how countries/cities might emulate its development to foster more innovation and growth in their startup ecosystems.
