HashUp

HashUp is an online marketplace for decentralized games. It provides a game distribution platform that enables players to sell, exchange, and trade games. Additionally, it provides a tool to download and play Web 2.0 and Web3 games.

The platform is hosted on the Ethereum blockchain and can meld a game's physical license with the ERC20 standard to create the ERC20 Cartridge. One unit of ERC-20 Cartridge is equivalent to one copy of the game, and its token is able to be held in the gamer's cryptocurrency wallet. Game creators and producers are able to publish their games by creating a GameContract.

HashUp enables gamers to view other players’ transactions, items, and collected non-fungible tokens (NFTs). Gamers are also able to vote for video games that are on the platform and comment on game pages and gamers’ profiles. Like a social network, they are able to follow influencers and befriend fellow players. On the platform, gamers can purchase and play games, borrow them, and sell the games if desired.
