Company attributes
CruiseAder was a company developing drone technology designs, fabrication, and testing for aerial surveillance, monitoring, and filmmaking. The company is no longer active.
CruiseAder's flagship drone design, called "Claire," was an autonomous drone capable of detecting human activities, monitoring animals, transporting goods, and other use cases. A modular hybrid drone, Claire was designed to take and land like a copter but cruise like a winged airplane. The design aimed to have longer air time endurance for various airborne applications, including collecting visually processed data and transmitting it to the cloud.

The company was founded in 2015 and was based in Stockholm, Sweden. CruiseAder was part of the KTH Innovation pre-incubator in summer 2016. Core members of the team were Kavithasan Patkunam, Samay Sigamani, Sivabalan Jayachandran and Logesh Sadasivam who all studied for their Masters in Aerospace Engineering, Production Engineering and Management. The idea behind CruiseAder was initially a solution for wildlife conservation. However, the company branched out to other industries requiring aerial imagery, including agriculture, industrial surveying, and filmmaking.
