Chain of Alliance

Chain of Alliance is a fully on-chain role-playing game (RPG) in a fantasy and science fiction world with NFTs. In the game, players and their party of adventurers can combat other players’ party or AI-controlled monsters for loot and experience points to enhance and develop their individual heroes. The emphasis of the game is on developing, customizing, and enhancing a player's character, picking from multiple species, classes, and loot. All characters are represented as non-fungible tokens, allowing players to have unique and one-of-a-kind avatars. Game progress is stored on blockchain. The game and all game modes are smart contracts defining the game logic, which makes all decisions verifiable and traceable by the players.

While Chain of Alliance is initially focused on delivering fun and engaging game modes that give players the option to express themselves through their character NFTs and strategies, it is intended to grow into a fully player-owned experience. This means players are intended to be able to create, use, and develop their characters but also to own land in the game, which can, in turn, be used to create Arenas. The game is also intended to offer players a chance to act as creators who can write their own stories and campaigns that anyone in the Chain of Alliance can play.

The game is currently live on private beta and the public testnet will be launched at the end of February 2022.

• Interoperability—connects the communities of Chain of Alliance and its partners by enabling you to transfer and use each other's NFTs, as well as progress them through interconnected game loops.
• Blockchain Integration—gives you more trust in the game by having your progress, the game logic itself as well as the metadata of your NFTs stored in a verifiable and transparent way on a public blockchain.
• In-game Marketplace—buy and sell NFTs and equipment directly from the Chain of Alliance user interface, bypassing secondary marketplaces
• Decentralized Governance—allows token holders to make collective decisions about game direction, graphics, and penalties for users who mismanage or neglect their LAND.
• Staking—users can earn additional rewards by staking their character NFTs, allowing them to be used as AI enemies in custom campaigns.
• NFTs—utilizing Chromias Originals Standard, all characters and equipables will be represented as NFTs and their corresponding metadata will be stored on chain. This allows the progress of the character to be stored on the chain and sold along with it.
