It was launched in early 2011 in the European and other markets. The car is in many ways similar in appearance to the A8 (D4), only some elements of the exterior details have changed. Also on its interior, platform and powertrain is the Audi A7, a four-door fastback coupe that was released intact before the A6 in 2011[1]. Compared to the A8 and A7, the A6 has a redesigned front fascia and LED headlights. The new A6 has increased the wheelbase by almost 76mm and the width by 18mm.
