An-124 (proper name: "Ruslan"; code in the OKB and MAP: Product 400; according to NATO codification: "Condor") - a heavy long-range transport aircraft developed by O. K. Antonov Design Bureau.
Serial production was carried out at the UAPK (RSFSR) and KIAPO (Ukrainian SSR). More than a hundred enterprises in Russia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan and other Soviet republics participated in the production of components for it in the USSR. After the collapse of the USSR and the cessation of mass production at both plants, there was a backlog, completed in the post-Soviet era. Attempts were made to resume full-fledged production, but they were unsuccessful.
