Since 1995, as an independent association of experts in the fantastic genre. Association researching and evaluating fantastic works published on the Czech and Slovak markets. Main activity is the awarding of prizes in various categories affecting the fantastic genre in almost its entire breadth, at least in terms of works of literature and partly art.

The Academy Award is presented annually in various literary and publishing categories.
